The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federal program administered by states and tribes, which provides winter heating and summer cooling funding to eligible low-income households during specific application periods throughout each year.

Oklahoma Human Services collaborates with utility companies to offset the cost of home energy for low-income households, prevent the interruption of utility service to those households, and restore service if it is disrupted.

Applications for summer cooling assistance opened July 15th, and customers can learn more or apply at: OKDHSLive.org.
